Lead Fleet Mechanic

STATUS: Salaried, Exempt

LOCATION: Gilbert, SC

REPORTS TO: Senior Management

PAY: Starting at $50,000/year

Job Summary:

As Lead Fleet Mechanic, you will be responsible for creating and overseeing fleet safety, processes, budgeting, inventory, and repairs. You will be responsible for ensuring all trucks and equipment are adequately repaired and maintained to ensure they can be operated safely and efficiently. You will also track all equipment data and inventory to identify company needs as they arise. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

Inventory and Technology

  • Track and order shop supplies and inventory as needed
  • Maintain records of repairs and maintenance
  • Maintains inventory of vehicles, equipment, repair parts, supplies
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures
  • Grade existing inventory based on condition
  • Forecast truck and equipment needs for the next 3 years

Repair

  • Make minor repairs as needed to emergency situations
  • Schedule and manage contractors that perform repairs
  • Perform operation test before and after repairs for verification
  • Help diagnose cause of any vehicle malfunction 

Preventative Maintenance

  • Ensure vehicles and equipment are regularly inspected and maintained to ensure safe operation
  • Enforces safe work behavior and maintain a safe work site
  • Development of vehicle and equipment maintenance preventative maintenance program

Physical Demands:

Qualification Requirements:

Day Porter

STATUS: Hourly, Full-time

LOCATION: Gilbert, SC

REPORTS TO: Maintenance Supervisor

PAY: $17.00 – $21.00/hour

Job Summary:
The Day Porter will help maintain manicured landscapes by supporting our team at large-scale commercial sites. They will be expected to safely operate commercial-grade landscaping equipment and ensure the upkeep of plant material and other landscaping elements.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintaining a clean landscape environment
  • Picking up trash and debris
  • Performing weed control – both chemically and by hand pulling
  • Maintaining plant health through fertilization and pest treatments 
  • Making minor repairs to irrigation systems and manually watering turf and shrubs as needed
  • Helping with special requests as needed

Skills:

  • Knowledge of irrigation systems
  • Experience with handheld power equipment such as blowers, trimmers, etc
  • Knowledge of chemicals and fertilizers
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to work in the most efficient manner

Business Systems Analyst

STATUS: Salaried, Exempt

LOCATION: Gilbert, SC

REPORTS TO: Controller

PAY: Salaried, negotiable

Job Summary:
You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the operating system SingleOps. This program manages customer records, performs estimates, schedules teams, invoices, receives payments, and gathers critical data about projects and contract services performed. You will also analyze the data and give critical feedback on the profitability of projects and contracts.

Essential Functions:
– Analyze data and ensure data integrity
– Create and prepare a daily dashboard to communicate profit/loss
– Create and prepare monthly customer evaluation reports
– Troubleshoot and research complex system issues and escalations
– Act as the main point of contact for all support and information requests for all CRM related issues
– Create and manage the invoicing process
– Maintain customer contracts and assist in billing estimations
– Create and lead training sessions for system users
– Review analytics to identify which groups may need additional support or follow up training
– Perform other duties as assigned by the leadership team

Qualification Requirements:
– CRM or Contract Accounting knowledge, preferred
– Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or any other related field preferred.

Irrigation Technician

STATUS: Hourly, Full time

LOCATION: Gilbert, SC

REPORTS TO: Detail Supervisor

PAY: $18-23/hour

Duties & Responsibilities: 

The Irrigation Technician will help maintain and repair irrigation systems on a daily basis. The ideal candidate is someone who is able to work independently, troubleshoot irrigation systems, and provide routine maintenance to prevent major issues.

  • Perform site assessments to identify and report any repairs needed.
  • Replace worn or damaged irrigation heads.
  • Repair irrigation mainlines and feeder lines.
  • Troubleshoot and repair irrigation valves and wiring issues.
  • Program irrigation controllers.
  • Troubleshoot and repair single-wire, multi-strand, and two-wire systems.


Education & Experience Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent, preferred.
  • 2 years of landscape irrigation repair experience, preferred.
  • Must have knowledge of PVC installation techniques and understand irrigation designs.


Skills & Abilities Qualifications:

  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Landscape Maintenance Team Member

STATUS: Hourly, Full time

LOCATION: Gilbert, SC

REPORTS TO: Crew Leader, Divisional Supervisor

PAY: $15-17/hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Perform all job-related tasks in compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  2. Safely operate and maintain hand and power tools, such as weed eaters, blowers, mowers, and trimmers.
  3. Perform assigned landscape maintenance tasks, such as mowing, edging, and pruning.
  4. Work to ensure quality and timely completion of all tasks assigned.
  5. Keep trucks and equipment clean and in working order.
  6. Report broken equipment to the Mechanic in conjunction with the Crew Leader.
  7. Participate in training certification programs, as needed.
  8. Contribute to our safety culture by wearing assigned Personal Protective Equipment (“PPE”), keeping safety guards on equipment in place, using equipment safely, and looking out for others.
  9. Interact with coworkers, property managers, and the public in a friendly and polite manner.
  10. Assist with special individual or group projects as needed and other duties as assigned.

Stormwater Maintenance Team Member

STATUS: Hourly, Full time

LOCATION: Gilbert, SC

REPORTS TO: Crew Leader, VP of Stormwater Operations

PAY: $18-21/hour

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Performing work in a SAFE manner is the #1 priority
  • Prefer 1-2 years of experience with outdoor labor including, but not limited to: landscaping, construction, grounds maintenance and repair, or similar work
  • Operating landscaping equipment including weed eaters, blowers, shovels, chain saws, hedge trimmers, mowers, and rakes
  • Collecting and properly disposing of the pollutants, trash, debris, sediment, and loose vegetation
  • Provide routine cleanup, maintenance, and light repairs of stormwater infrastructure including retention ponds, detention basins, drainage ditches, stormwater grates, and other stormwater assets
  • Perform mowing, weed-trimming, debris removal, ground maintenance and cleanup, light construction, and maintenance repairs for properties as directed
  • Operate landscaping and light construction equipment
  • Maintain equipment trailer
  • Company-paid overnight travel (e.g. food, water, lodging) whenever necessary

Landscape Installation Operator

STATUS: Hourly, Full time

LOCATION: Gilbert, SC

REPORTS TO: Crew Leader

PAY: $18-19/hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Running and operating heavy equipment such as skid steers, excavators, front end loader/backhoe.
  2. Proper grading and leveling knowledge is recommended.
  3. Transporting/trailing heavy equipment.
  4. Timely completion of projects to ensure client satisfaction.
  5. Has a strong work ethic and great attitude.
  6. Practices health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
  7. Willingness to learn new things as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Organize, supervise, lead and train employees within established guidelines and timeframe.
  2. Thoroughly clean and store all equipment in designated areas, when not in use.
  3. Inspect each job site weekly and maintain punch lists given by the manager while on site.
  4. Continuously identify ways to improve work processes, efficiency, and quality.
  5. Keep managers aware of all customer concerns and communication on the job site.
  6. Always maintain safe working conditions on the job site.

Education & Experience Qualifications:

  • Has prior leadership experience and/or a minimum of 2 years of professional landscape maintenance experience, preferred.
  • Current State Technician and/or Applicator license preferred, but not required.
