Robert McLeod Founder

Robert founded Heritage Landscape Services in 1986 after transiting from a career in farming. His entrepreneurial spirit and vision laid the groundwork for the company’s success today. Robert has promoted the landscape industry for many years and served as President of the Greater Columbia Landscape Association (GCLA) for several terms. Robert is the husband of Debbie, a proud grandfather of nine grandchildren, and is always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Ashley McLeod

Ashley McLeod President

Ashley, son of Robert, grew up working in the family business before college. After graduating from Clemson in 2002, he returned and began working in management. Ashley also works to promote this industry. He is past president of the GCLA and the SC Green Industry Association. Personally, Ashley enjoys working in the garden and volunteers as a Cub Scout leader. He and his wife Anna have 4 children.

Kleck Harman Vice President of Landscape Installation

Kleck is the son-in-law of Robert. His interest in landscaping began in high school in his horticulture class and continues today. Kleck stays involved the industry through his membership in the GCLA, where he also served as president. Personally, he enjoys the great outdoors and USC football. He and his wife Carey have 4 children.

Shandra Brannon Chief Operations Officer

Shandra joined the team at the beginning of 2022 and oversees the operations of Heritage. She has her BS in Accounting and MBA from USC. Her and her husband, Jay, have two daughters. When not working, she enjoys time with her family and their many rescue animals.

Kevin James Maintenance Sales Director

Kevin worked in the golf course industry for several years before moving to Midlands. He has a BS degree in Turfgrass Management from Clemson University and is a certified Rainbird Two Wire Irrigation Operator. Kevin and his wife, Julie, have two children. When he’s not at work, Kevin enjoys watching sports and manicuring his personal lawn.

Ian Randolph Operations & IT Director

Ian oversees IT, operations and process development & improvement. Ian attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and has his associate degree in computer animation & multimedia. If not at the office, you can find Ian kayaking on one of the local rivers.

Duffy Simpson Installation Sales & Estimating Director

Duffy has over 25 years of experience in the landscape industry and is passionate about working with clients to curate their ideal landscape. When he’s not in the office, Duffy enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two children.

Brandon Landreth Branch Manager (Charleston)

Brandon has been in the landscaping industry for over 25 years, first starting out as a Minor League Baseball groundskeeper. He obtained his associate’s degree in Turfgrass Science with a concentration in Agricultural Business Management from North Carolina State University. Brandon is a licensed pesticide applicator in both NC and SC. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, watching Wolfpack football, exploring Charleston, and spending time with his wife, Alysn, and their daughter.

Danny Holland Enhancement Sales Manager

Danny has been in the landscape industry for many years and is able to use his experience to help beautify and enhance the properties of our clients. He enjoys sports and is a diehard USC Gamecock fan. Together, Danny and Christy have four children.

Shawn Mills Fleet Manager

Shawn is a Gilbert native and has been in the automotive and equipment repair industries for over 10 years. He and his wife Crystal have a son and daughter. When not at work, he’s out hunting, fishing, or riding dirt bikes with his children.

Mario Garcia Recruiting & Safety Officer

After leading the maintenance crews for over 6 years with expert management skills from his 20 years of experience serving in the US Army, Mario has transitioned to his new role in recruiting and safety. He is married with two children, loves fishing on Lake Murray and volunteering his time with the Boy Scouts.

Lisa Kelly Landscape Designer

Lisa graduated from Clemson University with a BS in Design and majored in Landscape Architecture. She has a background in both design/build and management roles and a passion for design, plants, and working with clients. Lisa enjoys using color and contrasting textures when designing, while maintaining a balance of aesthetics with functionality and sustainability. When not at work, Lisa enjoys spending time with family and friends and working in the garden with her husband.

Renee McGrady Floriculture Manager

Renee joined the Heritage team in 2022 after owning a successful seasonal color installation business. She has held various positions in the green industry for over 30 years and quickly realized she had a passion for working with flowers. Since 2016, Renee has been the Lexington County liaison for the SC Farm Bureau Ornamental Horticulture Advisory Committee. Together, she and her husband, Mark, have one daughter.

Julio Torres Maintenance Supervisor

Julio has a passion for the green industry and has been in it for many years. He is able to use his experience to help maintain quality work with his crews. He enjoys outdoor activities with his wife and daughter in his spare time.

Victor Altamirano Irrigation and Turf Supervisor

Victor joined our team as a crew member in 2011 and gradually moved up the ladder to become a supervisor in 2020. When he is not at work, Victor enjoys playing basketball and spending time with his wife and daughters.
